#INSIDEOUT
Today is the first annual Fashion Revolution Day. This day was created in response to the factory collapse in Bangladesh exactly one year ago. Over 1000 people lost their lives, and since then the fashion industry has taken a step back to really examine its standards and practices.
Slumlove was created in order to provide safe employment & education opportunities for people living in one of the world's largest slums. We hold our company to very high standards, and won't compromise human life for fashion. We believe a company can be transparent, honest & socially just while still making clothes you love to wear!
The fashion revolution will only succeed if we, as consumers, choose to hold ourselves to a higher standard. Research companies, know where your clothes are coming from and be mindful of your purchases. It's a little step that can make a big impact.
