We recently asked Clare Sieva, Slumlove's head sweater-maker, a few questions to give you an opportunity to learn more about her! Clare is an extremely hard worker, and we are beyond grateful to have her as a part of the Slumlove team. If you've purchased a sweater from us, you can be sure that this lovely lady was the one who made it!

Where are you from?
I am from Kenya.
How did you learn to make sweaters?
Once I decided I wanted to start making sweaters, I went to train for six months.
Why do you like making sweaters?
They are easy for me to make and there is a ready market for school sweaters in Kenya.
What is your family life like?
I have one daughter named Chelsea.
What are your dreams and goals for the future?
I would like to see my company grow. I want to expand to having a full uniform shop for children in Kenya and continue to make new products for Slumlove.
What is something you would like to say to the Slumlove customers?
I love you all. You have made a big difference in my life.
